West Point Parents Club of North Texas (WPPCNTX)

Parents of West Point cadets experience unique challenges as their sons and daughters undergo a rigorous and demanding training program.

Membership in a West Point Parents Club offers an opportunity for mutual support, fellowship, and access to useful information about the Academy and cadet life. The West Point Parents Club of North Texas is one of more than 100 clubs throughout the United States and abroad.

Our Mission

- To provide information to parents, guardians, and family of Cadets of the United States Military Academy.

- To provide a welcoming and supportive venue for camaraderie among families and friends of West Point cadets.

- To promote a favorable attitude toward West Point and it goals and purposes in the North Texas community.

- To support the recruiting of prospective candidates for West Point.

Events

Every year our club designs a variety of fun events that enable parents to learn about West Point, support cadets, and meet other parents.  Here are some of the things we have done:

  • Parent Orientations and Cadet Candidate events to help families prepare for R-Day and Beast

  • Built and sent huge boodle boxes to our Cadets

  • Kept our Cadets warm with Texas Proud - Army Strong hoodies and fleece blankets.

  • Conducted parent meetings to help everyone understand West Point

This year we plan to also play a part in the Army - Air Force football game that will be on November 6, 2021, at Globe Life Field in Arlington.  We will support the Lone Star Military Ball, as well as other military-friendly organizations in the area, like the West Point Society of North Texas and more!
