West Point Parents Club of North Texas General Calendar
The WPPCNTX begins its activities in June with the New Cadet Candidate
Orientation, which welcomes the cadet candidates and their parents to an
important information sharing session prior to R-Day, the day the cadet
candidates first report to West Point.
Parents’ Club Meetings (Monthly) - Designated on the website
calendar for WPPCNTX members to get together to socialize, disseminate information, and/or support local military activities.
Cadet Candidate Orientation/Ice Cream Social (June) – This important information-sharing session allows cadet candidates and their families to meet and query current West Point cadets and their parents.
Gabe's Luncheon - August/A Day luncheon for Texas cadets.
Boodle Boxes (Fall and Spring) - WPPCNTX comes together to create care packages full of goodies (boodle) to be shipped to our cadets.
WPSNT Clay Shoot (October) - The Mission Continues will be the beneficiary! WPSNTX is also inviting 25 of our veterans to join this event.
Lone Star Military Ball Watch Party(Sept/Oct) - Friends and family attend as a fund raiser for the Military Ball.

Texas Tamale Tailgate (T3) - October Parents Weekend post game tailgate.
Football Tailgate (Fall) - There is usually a local tailgate or watch party for Army games, the Army-Navy game and, of course, when we make it to a bowl game!
Lone Star Military Ball (December) – A formal evening dinner/dance attended by the cadets and midshipmen from all five service academies along with their dates and their parents. It is also an opportunity for parents to see their cadets in full dress uniform.

Founders Day Dinner (March/April) - Founders' Day is the annual celebration of the founding of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, NY organized by the West Point Society of North Texas.
Spring Firstie Celebration (April/May) – An event to honor first class year cadet parents, at which the WPPCNTX will recognize the cadets with a memento.
Carry the Load (May) - Carry The Load's Memorial May March brings awareness to the True Meaning of Memorial Day. Funds raised during Memorial May provide direct support for healing of the mind, body and soul of our nation's Military, Veterans, First Responder's and their families.
Local USMA Events (Various times throughout the year) – Informal get-togethers to watch/attend USMA athletic teams, performances, or other events of interest to the membership
