​Welcome new parents and cadet candidates! Here are a few events scheduled to get you acquainted with other parents and cadet candidates as you begin your big adventure at West Point.

2030 Cadet Candidate Welcome Meeting(s) 

      April/May - Two opportunities to get questions answered by experienced parents. We will update the day and time with a registration/link when it is available. 

 

April 25, 2026 - Service academy forum (for class of 2031 and after candidates)

     8am to Noon. Carroll ISD performance center

 

​May 3, 2026- Firstie Family Farewell

     Brunch for Firstie Families at Truva, Colleyville. Time tbd

May 25-26, 2026 - Carry The Load

     Location determines date- find one in your area https://participate.carrytheload.org/

June 9, 2026- Live Fire Event for Cadet Candidates

     Meet with Old Grads and current cadets at Texas Gun Experience to see and fire weaponry similiar to what the Army uses.

    10am to Noon 1901 S. Main Street Grapevine, TX 76051

​June 13, 2026 - Ruck / Ice Cream Social / Send-Off of 2030 Cadet Candidates

      Break in those boots! Come meet other cadet candidtaes and enjoy a ruck around the Bear Creek trails in Grapevine.
