April 20 :Parent Meeting and WPPCNTX Class of 2028 & USMAPS Parent and Cadet Candidate Orientation #1

Time :  10-1130 am

Location : Texas Gun Experience,1901 S Main St, Grapevine, TX 76051  

Open to members and non-members.  This informative session is for parents and cadet candidates.  We'll share tips on preparing for R-day and BEAST, plus give you a chance to ask questions.  Invites will be sent via email (contact wppcntx@gmail.com if you have any questions). 

     

MAY 2024 

May 18 : Parent Meeting and WPPCNTX Class of 2028 & USMAPS Parent and Cadet Candidate Orientation #2

Time :  4-530pm

Location : Texas Gun Experience,1901 S Main St, Grapevine, TX 76051

Open to members and non-members.  This informative session is for parents and cadet candidates.  We'll share tips on preparing for R-day and BEAST, plus give you a chance to ask questions. (contact wppcntx@gmail.com if you have any questions). This session will cover the same information presented in the April session.  You may find it helpful to attend both sessions to hear the questions from other participants.      

 

May 18: WPPCNTX Virtual Talk with a Plebe 

This event is for 2028 Cadet Candidates and USMAPs only.  This is a great chance to ask questions of USMA 2028 cadets who have successfully navigated USMAPS, R-Day, Beast, and their Plebe year at West Point.  Invite will be sent via email.

JUNE 2024

June 12 : Gun handling and Shooting Experience 

Time: 10-1130

Location :  Texas Gun Experience,1901 S Main St, Grapevine, TX 76051

This event is for 2028 and USMAPS cadet candidates only. Cadet Candidates will learn gun handling from West Point Grad and will also have a Gun shooting experience.

       June 15:   Break-in-My-Boots Road March.

Time: 8 am - 10 am

Location :  Bear Creek Pavillion, 3230 South State Highway 360, Grapevine 76051 TX

This event is for 2028 and USMAPS cadet candidates, parents are welcome too (or you can join us later in the morning at the Ice Cream Social - see below).  Join us for a quick lesson on how to care for our feet before we head out on a road march.  Class representatives from your 50-year affiliation class USMA 1978 will be on hand to walk with you.  This is an excellent way to meet your classmates and get in a good workout. The event will be held rain or shine at the  in Grapevine. and you must RSVP to WPPCNTX@gmail.com to receive the event instructions.

June 15: WPPCNTX Ice Cream Social for 2028 & USMAPS

Time: 10 am - 12:30 pm

Location : Bear Creek Pavillion, 3230 South State Highway 360, Grapevine 76051 TX

Open to members and non-members this fun session is a chance for parents and cadet candidates to hear some final words of wisdom from USMA parents and grads, and meet their classmates.  We'll even have the opportunity for cadet candidates to speak directly with current USMA cadets home on summer leave.  The event will be held rain or shine at the  in Grapevine.  Please RSVP to WPPCNTX@gmail.com to help us plan.
